Clearwater is not one compact beach district. Downtown sits on the Intracoastal side, residential areas spread east and south, and Clearwater Beach lies across the causeway. Plan visits by district so bridge traffic does not define the whole impression.
02 · Getting around
Parking rules differ between downtown and the beach, and the city publishes alternative transportation options. Check current city pages before an event or beach day rather than assuming one parking strategy works everywhere.
03 · Living here
A Clearwater search can include condos, older single-family neighborhoods, waterfront property, and newer infill. Compare evacuation zones, flood and insurance questions, school assignments, commute routes, and condo governance at the property level.
